I am looking for a transportable ripping solution that allows me to rip min. 4 CDs in parallel.
I am specifically not looking at a nimbie type solution, as that one only rips one CD at once. I am...

    Re: error batch converting

I found a workaround. I was able to convert the FLACs to WAV using foobar. Then converted the WAVs back to FLAC using batch converter. The new FLAC files can be converted to WAV using batch converter.

    Re: error batch converting

I have exactly the same problem. Conversion from FLAC to WAV yields "indicated sample count does not match decoded sample count, possible file corruption".
I was wondering whether this issue has...

    Re: QAAC CLI Encoder errors.

Here's the encoder.txt file as I am using it:
    - added quotes around [outfile]
    - added drop down to set target sample rate

    Code:

    [codec].m4a
    qaac.exe

    Xiklone question

Is there a way to specify "no conversion" in Xiklone? One directory of my "master" library contains mp3 and m4a files, that I would like to simply copy to the target library, and not process in any...
  8. Re: command line parameter depending on samplerate of input file

No problem, I think I can solve this another way, by putting the 88.2 and 176.4kHz files in a separate directory. Everything else should process as I intend.
I am aware that my request is not...

    Re: QAAC CLI Encoder errors.

    Solved
Looking at other encoder.txt files, I figured out that there need to be quotes around [outfile] such as this "[outfile]"
With this addition, the script in post *7 works

    Re: QAAC CLI Encoder errors.

    Hi all
This thread seems to answer my question how to use qaac with dbpoweramp.
I have taken tscolin's latest script from post *7 and put it and the x86 qaac files into the CLI encoder directory....
  12. Re: Convert FLAC -> MP3: File Name length limit

    Thanks, Spoon
I have done another conversion from scratch and the file names are now ok. I believe that iTunes may have trunctuated the file names when indexing the files. It has some really nasty...
  13. Convert FLAC -> MP3: File Name length limit

    Hi
I have converted my FLAC library to MP3s with batch converter. I noticed that the filenames of the mp3's get trunctuated at 35 characters. Is this a limitation of music converter of FLAC or LAME?...
