Re: New install on latest RaspiOS

Oh dear! Support has just gone downhill. All your previous instructions included mounting of drives etc worked just fine. If it is all too difficult for you then I'll have to resort to google...

Re: New install on latest RaspiOS

P.S. It's nothing to do with the Asset installation, it's to do with mounting the NAS directories and associating them with equivalent directories on the Raspberry Pi

    New install on latest RaspiOS

While I have had a few successful installs on previous versions of the Raspberry Pi and its OS of the time, the latest OS is causing me some problems.

    Re: Number of albums detected

OK - so I've found the settings (spanner) associated with each of the four components (Album Art, ID Tags, De-Dup and AccurateRip) that make up PerfectTUNES.
I've had a look at the settings for all...

    Number of albums detected

I have a library of 4605 CD albums which have been successfully ripped and tagged by dBpoweramp over the years.
The number 4605 is what Asset tells me.
I am planning to use PerfectTunes / AlbumArt...

Re: Disabling automatic rescan on Raspberry Pi

Peter - can you get me out of this hole please.
It seems the extraction / unzipping creates an additional instance of Asset rather than replacing the previous version.
    Many thanks in advance.

Re: Disabling automatic rescan on Raspberry Pi

    Thanks for the quick work.
I'm having a bit of trouble installing the new version. When I try to start AssetUPnP in the new directory it claims the old version is still running, which it is.
    I had...

Thank you very much Peter for looking into it.

Re: Disabling automatic rescan on Raspberry Pi

    Thanks Peter.
In answer to your initial question, no, all the other settings (which I take to be those on the configuration page) survive a reboot.
Regarding your suggestions, I'm afraid these go...

Disabling automatic rescan on Raspberry Pi

I understand there is a setting to enable this but I can't find it anywhere through the Raspbi interface.
Am I missing something or being thick?........you can be quite candid!
    Thanks.
