    Each genre appears on its own line when viewed in the pop-up properties of Vista, and SqueezeCentre picks up the additional genre after a rescan of the music...

    How do I add an additional genre?

    Either when ripping the original CD, or as an after rip process by editing the genre tag in Windows Vista Explorer view?

    I've ripped our CD collection with the standard genre given to dbpoweramp...

    AMG is the culprit. I changed to Freedb and all is well.

    Is there a way of setting the hierarchy of these providers?

    The default PerfectMeta (Intelligent Lookup). That in turn appears to look at:-

    All Media Guide
    GD3
    MusicBrainz
    Freedb
    TrackType

    It's done it again on another 2 CD set.

    Disk 1 has ripped with:-

    ...\Music\Various Artists\Best Rock Ballads in the World...Ever Disc 1\02 Edwyn Collins - A Girl Like You.flac

    Which is fine....
