"Track Technical" column in Mac OS X CD Ripper
I added a "Track Technical" column in CD Ripper with the expectation that tracks with pre-emphasis would be noted (I read hdcd would be identified, too).
I ripped 3 known discs with pre-emphasis and no such notation was made.
Is this feature not yet supported on Mac? I'm running dB 16.6 and Mac OS X 10.15.1.
Does "Track Technical" display any information at this point?

On the Mac pre-emphasis is not supported I think.

Thanks for confirming.
Pre-emphasis identification and DSP compensation is on my long term wish list for dBpoweramp's cd ripper.
Under the "Tags & Filenames" options section of preferences, will the option to "write ID tags" for pre-emphasis actually do that?

We can look at this again, but I am not sure OSX makes this ability to detect available for us. I know iTunes has that ability, but that might be lower level than we are allowed to access.

I'm not sure if we are allowed to post about other software, but I came across updated and current Mac software that can de-emphasize ripped WAV and AIFF tracks and it seems to work well, from tests I just made, within the last hour.
