old dBPowerAmp = new PerfectTunes?
As can probably be determined from the title, it has been a while since I gone digging into replacing the old dBPowerAmp. I was running r3-beta6 (from July 2005) on W2K. I really do not use that box anymore. I bring it up when I need something off of it. In any event, I upgraded the CD Ripper software, as I had a purchase registration for it. But, I don't see any registration info for dBPowerAmp. So, I did a registration lookup and there is nothing for dBPowerAmp.
I'm assuming that PerfectTunes is the replacement for dBPowerAmp. Yes? If so, how do I go about upgrading my old dBPowerAmp to PerfectTunes?
Thanks
Re: old dBPowerAmp = new PerfectTunes?
PerfectTUNES is not the replacement, it supplements dBpoweramp.
Try here to look for your registration:

That I did not know, since I do not see dBPowerAmp being listed as a product on the product web page. Maybe I need to be a little more specific. The version that I installed was from this file: dBpowerAMP-r3-beta6.exe Within it is the music player and the My Music Collection programs. I do not see any of that listed as available for purchase/upgrade.

I had already gone there. It only showed the purchase reference that I already had for dBpoweramp Music Converter & CD Ripper.
It has been like 14.5 years since I obtained the original r2 version. So, color me confused as to what is going on currently.
Re: old dBPowerAmp = new PerfectTunes?
Ah the Music Player, we discontinued it over 10 years ago, here is the details for it:

The mirror link should still be active.

What about My Music Collection? Has that been replaced with PerfectTunes? If yes, is there an upgrade path, or do I need to start over?
I told you it had been a while.
Re: old dBPowerAmp = new PerfectTunes?
No, PerfectTUNES shows the tracks but will not play them.

Thanks, but that isn't the question that I asked:

Re: old dBPowerAmp = new PerfectTunes?
PerfectTUNES has not replaced My Music Collection

So, what has replaced My Music Collection? What I have, ver R3-beta6, is almost 14 years old. I can't find anything on the website that is anything like the old My Music Collection.
Re: old dBPowerAmp = new PerfectTunes?
Nothing replaced it, it was discontinued.

Well, that sucks. I liked the program.
Re: old dBPowerAmp = new PerfectTunes?
Is whatever version was last available in the archives for downloading?
Re: old dBPowerAmp = new PerfectTunes?
R2 can be downloaded from the link yes.
