Your recommendations for headless unit?

Successfully setup BatchRipper on a headless unit with a single CD drive. The unit rips to FLAC, stores on the HD, then music can be played mobile devices and MediaMonkey.

After several hours of search, I found that BatchRipper has an --autorip command line argument which makes BatchRipper ready to rip as soon as you insert a CD. This is important for a headless unit which needs to start BatchRipper at start. I feel like I'm reinventing the wheel here - I searched but didn't find any other relevant commands.

Does anyone else have any "must do" recommendations in their setups, command line or not?
