FLAC 1.3.2 / FLAC 1.3.3 Beta (16.6)

Hi.

I am currently evaluating the trial (16.6) and was wondering if FLAC 1.3.2 is still being used for the encoding?

The reason I ask is the ‘Writing library’ tag shows 1.3.2, but another tag called ‘Writing application’ shows FLAC 1.3.3 beta.

It looks like the ‘Writing library’ tag uses the text stored in C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpoweramp\Versions\Compression\F LAC.txt.

In other programs, I normally copy the FLAC.exe in so I know the version, but here a .DLL is used instead.

In summary, I am looking for confirmation that FLAC 1.3.2 is still being used in 16.6 despite the tag differences above.

R16.6 is FLAC 1.3.3 beta, if you want the full release of FLAC 1.3.3 install R17 which is in the testing section of this forum.
