Re: DSD Tag Error Reading
What exact tag value were you searching for and how were searching?
What exact tag value were you searching for and how were searching?
P.Tunes ID Tags
Sort Tags
Album Artist Sort Tags
It found the PCM (FLAC) Album Artist tags that were missing or other errors, but did not show the same with DSD tags that had errors that I knew were there
It does read the DSD files & all the tags OK from the NAS.
Re: DSD Tag Error Reading
If you browse by:
ID Tags >> Browse by Metadata >> Artist / Album
are you able to find those DSD albums?

Re: DSD Tag Error Reading
Hi again, I think I've found a better/simpler way to show you the problem:
Browsing the NAS by File & Folders >> Album Edit Mode
It shows all albums including DSD in the folder tree
It shows PCM (FLAC) album content details, header, art, tracks & tags etc
It does NOT SHOW any DSD album content

Re: DSD Tag Error Reading
Your files have a .dsf extension?
Your files have a .dsf extension?
Yes, all show as .dsf
dBpoweramp Edit ID Tags header shows as .dsf
Windows 'properties' show as DSF File (.dsf)
(All my DSD files are DSD64)
Re: DSD Tag Error Reading
Perhaps the codec did not install, try to uninstall PerfectTUNES, full reboot of Windows and re-install.
If you look in the perfecttunes install folder there should be a decoder folder in there 'DSD SACD.dll'

I've done as requested, no change
Looked in Program Files>>PerfectTUNES>>Decoder .... there is no DSD SADC .dll
Re: DSD Tag Error Reading
Try copying the DLL from the dbpoweramp decoder folder to the perfecttunes decoder folder.

Success !!!! I didn't copy the whole folder, just copy/pasted the DSD SADC.dll to
P.Tunes Decoder folder
Browsing the NAS by File & Folders >> Album Edit Mode
It shows all albums including DSD in the folder tree
It now shows both FLAC & DSD album content details, header, art, tracks & tags etc
Thanks for your help
