    AlbumGain utility codec identifier bug?

    I think there is a bug/error in the AlbumGain utility codec in the batch converter.
    I selected to use the Album ID tag to identify albums, but it creates different values for tracks if the artists don't match (either in compilations or tracks with guest/featured artists). It could be that I should have used the "all files in same folder" option instead, but if so it's misleading. I would have thought the Album ID tag was the album title?

    Album Artist is used with the Album tag to identify.

      I thought it probably should. But it is actually using track artist as well sometimes. All my "Various Artists" albums have different gains applied to the tracks, as do albums with featured and guest artists on some tracks. It is also using disc number, applying a different gain to each disc of a multi-disc album (although that's not such a problem).

      For example, R.E.M Around the Sun. All tracks are -8.9, except track 3 with additional artist Q-Tip which has -9.49 applied:
