Problem installing software on Win 10
Hi, Just upgraded my laptop and tried to install my older version R15.something..... failed.
Decided to upgrade so paid and d/l latest version 16.4
This also won't install.
I also tried the 16.5 Beta and this gave the same error.
I've attached jpg showing the error when trying to install.
Anyone have any ideas what's happening?
thanks

See this. You need to copy that file in your screenshot to your desktop from %tmp then run it from there. [URL="https://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?35515-Problem-with-installing-15-2"]

did you copy the file that got created in your tmp directory after running the installer as noted in my earlier thread link. This is not the downloaded installer file, but a different file.
Re: Problem installing software on Win 10
You should run the install, it gives the error in the original message, you then look in the temp folder for the extracted install exe (the full name is given in the error message) it is this file you copy to the desktop and run.

Ok thanks
Works now. I missed the need to find the temp file
