dbPA SRC in hardware for real time conversion on multi channel digital audio
Hi. So Foobar includes a DSP plugin that enables real time dbPA SRC.
If I wanted to have a small, dedicated physical hardware box that could accept 8 channel SPDIF/AES/ADAT, run dbPA SRC, then output these 8 channels in SPDIF/AES/ADAT at a different sample rate:
(1) what would be the CPU requirements for concurrent real time low latency 8 channel SRC? (ie: 8 channels in @24/44.1 and 8 channels out @24/96) ?
(2) would using Foobar be the best/efficient way, or would dbPA reference have some type of real time IO/API for this?
Thanks

The input and output are on a sound card?

@spoon yes; external audio feeds into soundcard; soundcard then outputs SRC&*8217;d audio

We do not have anything which can do this, sorry.
