I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm trying to rip Vampire Weekend's latest and I get an error(X + error) in the gui.
I've tried this with 14.4.0.3 and 17.7 with 2 different drives and both drives/versions give the same results. A month ago, it worked fine.
I've tried rebooting...

According to the rip log file I have an accurate rip, but the song length is not the same.
Each Flac file has 1 to 3 seconds more playing length and sometimes a second less.
It seems to me that the rip can never be "accurate",... -
I use linux, so I am thinking that I could generate my own checksums and compare them to the database. How can I access them? Do I have to deal with drive offsets as well? Thanks in advance.
