    Xiph.org and Meta Cache Questions

I had a few miscellaneous questions:

    1. After I installed 15.2 beta, I installed the xiph.org open codecs 0.85.17777 on my ripping machine to play flacs in WMP. I noticed the flac icon changed, but did I clobber anything important for dBpa?

    2. How long does the metadata cache accumulate, and where is the file?

    3. My metadata 'submit changes to' menu item is disabled. Where is this setting?

Thanks very much any or all ...

    1. No
    2. %appdata% in the dbpoweramp folder, you can set the maximum size in CD Ripper >> meta drop menu >> settings for local cache
    3. You have to change the titles, then it is enabled.

      Thanks Spoon.

Also, for anyone interested, in another thread I had asked about search functionality for FLAC tags in Windows 7. I found I am able to use the so-called "advanced Windows 7 search operators" to search on many of the ID tags. Either the open codecs enabled some additional attributes in W7, or I wasn't doing it properly before (Google advanced W7 search operators).
