hi,

I may be in the wrong place but I am getting a bit desperate for some help. My wife bought an Olympus digital voice recorder model VN-480PC to use to take notes in a college class. She wants me, who she thinks is incredibly smart when I am really not, to dump these files to a CD which she can play in the car. The problem I am encountering is that the files are recorded in mono and my burner will spit them out when I try to make an audio cd. They download to the 'puter just fine and are listed as .wav files, but on my last computer (we bought a new one Saturday) the burner program said it needed to be in some thing like 44.1 bit stereo, etc. Anyone know what I need to do, besides throwing the recorder out the window while driving down the expressway?

Thanks,
Chuck

You can try converting your WAV files to stereo WAV files but I'm not sure if it will populate the signal across both channels or just put it on one channel.
