Does anyone know if there is a way to process an entire directory of music files, and check each file for sync errors, corruption, and so on?
I know I can do this with monkeyaudio but there must be a third party tool, unless dbpoweramp can do it?

For MP3s you can use an excellent program called mpTrim:

I don't see what in mptrim would do this.... but I've not tried it to see if it has other feature than those on that web page.

dMC can do Test Conversion (no write) for a group of files, so if there are errors this might give an indication. Test Conversion is one of the utility pseudo-codecs you can download from Codec Central.

But I don't know if that's what you wanted actually. If what you want is to check that abc.mp3 and abc.flac and abc.ape are all ok and correspond to the same audio original, say abc.wav, I don't know that you can do it.
