I have been using dMC for a long time and am very happy with it. However I have noticed that the Popup info box doesn't show as much information as it used to. For example, I used to be able to see comments saved in mp3 tags, but now I can't.
I do use tagscanner to edit alot of my tags and perhaps it is a problem with compatibility. I don't know....
Any thoughts on how to resolve this would be appreciated.

What format are your tags being written in by dMC? The default setting is APEv2 which cannot be read by most mp3 players. You editing the tags with another program probably wrote ID3v2 tags which PopupInfo is reading.

I'm using version 11. dMC is making ID3v1&ID3v2. It is not set to write UTF8 for ID3v1 and is set to use unicode for ID3v2. I almost always use ID3v2 tags. Now the interesting thing is that just after my first post, PopupInfo started showing all of the information. Any other thoughts about why it seems to come and go?

It might not be dbpoweramp showing the popup, look at the bottom it should say 'dbpoweramp'

Yes that's it! I don't see dbpoweramp at the bottom when it is not showing complete information. Does XP have the ability to show a popup information box?

3. Click the View tab
4. Unselect the Show pop-up description for folder and desktop items option
5. Click OK

And then re-check dMC configuration to double-check if the Popup Explorer thing is checked off.
