I purchased the power pack, now i'm getting this error msg...

The CODEC required to compress 'C:\Converted Music\Ja Rule - 03 - Between Me And You [feat. Christina Millian].mp3' could not be opened.
Error creating mp3 compressor, try different frequencies and / or bitrates

How do I fix it? I am kinda confused. :(

What are you trying to make and from what? What are the specs of the input file and what did you select for the output file?

File type, bitate, frequency, bits, channels, all you can tell about the files.

Im trying to make an .mp3 file ringtone, for my cell phone.

16 bit , 22050 hz, 1 'mono' then converted to .mp3 ' mono ' 22050 hz ' 32kbps '

i was just following directions from freeringers.net on how to make an .mp3 ringtone

on my old cell, it needed .mmf files for ringtones, my new fone takes .mp3's

Hmm, this'll get worked out, but I recommend going to www.howardforums.com or www.wirelessadvisor.com. They have great forums and there are many folks on there who specialize in cell phones.

Is your input file an .mp3 with frequency 22050Hz, mono? If so, what is the bitrate?

It seems you want to maybe only convert the bitrate to 32kbps and keep everything else the same?
