You cannot use dBpowerAMP for video.

What kind of file did you download? is it an mpg?

You need to have a DVD player installed on your computer such as WinDVD, for example. Such programs have a special video codec that enables them to decode the video and display it through your video card. Unfortunately, they are not free because the DVD codec is licenced and they have to pay to make the program.
