I have many FLAC & SHN live concerts. While listening to audio CDs of these files there is a jump or brief gap between each track. Is there a way for a burn an audio CD with smooth track transition using dbpoweramp? Codec D/L, special setting? How is it that live "official CDs" are able to have smooth track transition?

To create a CD without gaps between tracks the software you use must support Disk-At-Once' burning. Unfortunately dCW (dBpowerAMP CD Writer) doesn't support DAO and creates Audio CDs with gaps between tracks.

The commercial products Nero and EasyCD Creator support DAO as do the free programs Deepburner (http://www.deepburner.com) and burnatonce (http://www.burnatonce.com) .

Great info - so it's based on what software I have rather than the acutal CD burner. My 2 year old 4X Speed CD burner will be able to handle this as long I have the software.
Although I should update the hardware - all I really need is software that handles disc-at-once burning
