When I click on "Burn CD" it tells me that No CD writers were found. Why?

Do you have a CDR drive on your CPU?

Sorry, I'm not very familiar with all the computer jargon. I've downloaded dbpowerAMP CD Writer and it tells me that the audio track is on the CD but it won't burn. What else does it need?

Oh! I need a CD burning hardware. Is that what you're saying? I can't just download the software and burn to CD?

When I click on "Burn CD" it tells me that No CD writers were found also. However, I do have a CD burner installed on an XP system. It is a tdk161040X. It has burned before, but under DMC it gives the error "no cd writers found" DMC writer is registered 10. 3., Writer "release 1.1" Powerpack is also registered... What might I need to do or check?

the cd writer is 1.1 http://www.dbpoweramp.com/cdwriter.htm

maybe reinstall the cd writer as a double check that everything is ok.

oh and it looks like you might have to reinstall dmc after as the cd writer will probably install dmc 10 b3 the current dmc is 10.1 http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm

Try using dMC Audio CD Input, can that rip ok from the writer?

Hi. Now Audio Cd Grabber and Converter both work.thx. I reinstalled the writer, but then did some research and discovered that I had two problems: the ASPI driver wasn't there. Must have uninstalled with Nero. However the "version checker" and "4.71 update" helped me there.
Second, I'm running XP user level rights, so I also needed to make the NT/XP compatibilty adjustments.

so thanks for a great tool!

I keep coming upon new questions:
Why does "Accurate rip" stays "unconfigured -- waiting for key disc?"
"Is there anyway to import and match set lists from downloaded shows to match mp3 titles?"
How do I keep all my music organized?
what is the best ever binder storage solution out there for cds? which do dbpoweramp users particularly go for? (eg caselogic 264, 400?)

:)

Hi

It's a great work to do. I've used 17 cd's on the list. I had to use three cd to make the cd key: queen, sting and john lennon.
Just keep trying and you will find it to work.

Have a look at www.accuraterip.com and install the accuraterip function and offline database, then you can feed it key discs to configure the offset.
