I have Asset UPnP 5.1 installed on the QNAP TS-119P and the QNAP TS-251.
On the TuneIn web site I added Radio Paradise as a favourite.
Listening to TuneIn favourite RP (320k AAC) on my Hegel H160, the control app, BubbleUPnP, shows that on the TS-119P the stream is transcoded to WAV, while on the TS-251 the stream is transcoded to MP3.
Does anyone know how this difference can be explained?
Asset is configured as default on both QNAPs, except that I added my TuneIn user name.

It is an option what to stream as for .radio, by default it is mp3, you must have changed at some point to wave.

Hello Spoon,
Thanks for the answer.
Do you have any idea where I can change this option?
In Asset, Bubble, or in the NAS?
I don't know where the transcoding is done.
The same TuneIn favourite shows different streams on the different QNAP's.
Bubble shows 3 different stream types in the metadata, but only picks the first one in the row.
Changing output from AAC to WAV in Asset has no result.

It is in Asset on the configuration page, you would connect to the QNAP configuration section first. See assets help here:

I found a workable solution.
On the TS-251 I have to enable "RADIO as WAV" to force the stream to play in WAV format.
Strange though, that on the TS-119 the same stream plays in WAV format by default, i.e. without checking this box.

It is not fast enough to encode to mp3 in realtime.
