Dear all,

I have a problem using asset UPnP with windows 8.
Sound is horrible (always cut, scratching) although I have (at least I hope so) set up everything properly (Wasapi as WAV, speakers selected, etc)

Thanks for help

Normal wave files stream ok?

Files are FLAC. I tried set-up in Asset (FLAC as IS and FLAC as WAV) but none of them work. I stream on qobuz.

If you have flac files on your computer, set to stream as wave, they should play, what is your player?

Streamer is a 3DLab and application is PlugPlayer

It can play the FLAC (from your computer) files streamed as WAVE?

Yes it does.
I can listen music straight from computer's hp. The problem is when I use plugplayer.

If you are using Wireless for the laptop, this is likely the issue, you need a wired connection between laptop and player.

It is the same when wired

I would recommend you try a different UPnP server as a test, there are too many variables at play here (laptop + network + upnp server + player), could be any of them.

Hi, it works!
I installed "songcast" from http://www.linn.co.uk/software. It has taken control of speakers and now it is fine. Thanks for your precious help on this.
