View Full Version : Help keeping original file structure

Hi i am using the following script but it isnt working out right for me i have my music folder with a folder called adele which has 2 folders inside namely 19 and 21 now 21 has 2 folders inside that named cd1 and cd2.
When i convert i get 2 folders called 1 and 2 then all the tracks from 19 not in any folder just in the new destination folder, can you help in where i went wrong

You mean it is trimming the artist? you can then try:
[TRIMFIRSTFOLDER][TRIMFIRSTFOLDER][origpath]\[origfilename][][]

Thanks for the quick reply I have say a music folder with a folder in it called adele, in that folder there are two others named 19 and 21 and in 21 a further two folders cd1 and cd2, when I convert all I get in the destination folder are two files named 1 and 2 and then the converted files from 21 not in the 21 folder but just loose

Give an example full path and filename please of one file, before and after converting.

Thanks here is the paths for 1 of the files, before then after
\\BROXI\Music\Adele\Adele - 19\1
\\BROXI\Music\Converted files for apple lossless\1

Try:
[origpath]\[origfilename]
and set the output folder to:
\\BROXI\Music\Converted files for apple lossless\
What result do you get?

\\BROXI\Music\Adele\Adele - 19\1\01 - Daydreamer.flac
\\BROXI\Music\Converted files for apple lossless\Music\Adele\Adele - 19\1\01 - Daydreamer.m4a
Seems to add this extra folder in, instead of just converting the folders across

Should do as you require
