View Full Version : Batch Converter does not work over network

I'm trying to use the Batch Converter to convert files on my NAS.

If I click on the "+" by network I get the error "dBpoweramp Batch Converter has stopped working" and all I can do is close the program. Alternatively if I click the checkbox by network I get the message "Only folders within a network can be set for inclusion", which makes sense, but the only way you can select folders is to click on the "+".

I'm running Win 8 64 bit and a Synology NAS.

Thoughts from anyone?

Try mapping the network share as a drive letter (right click on share in File Explorer >> Map network drive...)

Thanks, nice workaround that worked.

Also suggests my experience above must be a bug otherwise why would the network "+" and checkbox be offered.

Yes will make a note to test (it is perhaps something specific to Windows 8)
