Hi,

I'm using the premium version of Asset on my Windows 7 64bit PC. 99% of the music are flac files. As volume levels are different, I used Foobar to apply track gain and I'm converting the files on the fly to 24-bit wavs with volume levelling enabled. So far so good.

I'm unable to pause playback on my Pioneer N-50 though, the unit simply won't respond. I'm not convinced it's a hardware issue, as I installed a trial version of Jriver based on someone's observation that his pause was working as it should and he thought it was library related. Using Jriver, pause is working fine.

Obviously, I don't want to switch to Jriver as Asset is working like a charm otherwise. Do you guys have any ideas?

The Pioneer are expecting something in the browse details we are not supplying, but we cannot think what that might be...

Is there any way to find out?

Not an easy way, you would have to install Wireshark and capture the browse and first part of track playback upto your pause.
Then we could compare to asset (you would do the same for asset).

I have the same problem with Pioneer SC-63 A/V receiver. Thought it was a problem with the receiver until I tried it with Twonky which "pauses" fine. Prefer Asset tho'. Hopefully a fix in the works.

R4.2 in the testing section of the forum fixes the pause issue.
