After burning about 5 CD's on the trial version I got a sing saying that the CD Writer had preformed an illegal operation then the following message. What should I do?

Looks like you have come across a bug in the writing component. If you want to risk another CD-R, try and burn again - it is possible that it was a computer glitch that caused it (doing other things whilst burning?)

I tryed to burn another CD and got this message:

The application overflowed its stack. This is typically caused by unrestricted recursion or an exception inside an exception handler.

Module Name: CDWRITERXP.OCX

Is there something special about the CD you are burning? is it a Standard Audio CD? or a mp3 CD?

are there lots of tracks, or files?

I have a hard time understanding about codec's so am having a hard time with getting the music all straight. I have Adeptec software on my computer so there might be a conflict. Thats why i wanted the trial version first. The reason I wanted this one is to convert some songs that the other dbpoweramp converted couldent (or wouldn't) do. I have soms songs that are supposed to be wav's but say they are Mp3's, plus i have a few od ball formats, that this one was converting nicely untill i got to the 6th Cd.
Is there a way to use the CD Witer to convert then save to a file in the new format? I wish there were a "convert to cda" format on the dbpoweramp music converter. That would solve my problems!!
If i registered this, are there more features to it? And can I get it on a CD so reinstalling it would be easier?

There should be no conflict between Adaptec (which Windows Version do you have?)

It is possible you have found a combination of files that the Writer is having problems with, why I am not sure, but by the time you click 'Burn CD' everything should be already converted for the CD.

One thing to check is you have enough Hard Disc space, I am assuming you have one drive - c:, check the free space runs to at least 800 MB.

I would give up on that CD and try a different one, with different files - run 'dBpowerAMP CD Writer' and click 'Delete CD' to clear all the files from it to start fresh.
