hi, when I installed dBpowerAMP-codec-wmav8.exe, it ended with this error:

Error registering the OCX c:\windows\SYSTEM\I3codeca.acm

is this the reason that caused the following errors when later I wanted to do MP3 to WMA conversion on some bitrates:

The CODEC required to compress 'C:\mp3\English\english2.wma' could not be opened.

or this error:

Unable to write to 'C:\mp3\English\english2.wma', disk full?

although on other bitrates it was able to convert.

I have read other threads which you have mentioned some bitrates would work while others have those "CODED could not be opened" and "disk full" errors, and you suggested people to try different bitrates, I just would like to know if it's related to the error that I had installing WMA codec, or is it is an inherent problem, thanks

The two are not releated, this file:

>c:\windows\SYSTEM\I3codeca.acm

is only used for creating Wave files (internally compressed as mp3).
