Hello,
the Batchripper 1.4 haves following bug

If you rip a double CD and the meta data contains not explicit "CD1" or "CD2"
the batchripper keeps the Meta data from CD1 but overwrite the Music file with the Music from CD 2!
Example: You try the Disc:
neil diamond essential (double Disc)
After Ripping you have one folder with the Files Tagging from Disc 1 and the Music from Disc2

changes to Batchripper v1.3 :
If you rip the same Album with the Batchripperv1.3 you have one Folder which contain the Files from Disc 1 and Disc 2

This problem i have with many Discs; (most Sampler .)

Please let me know how can i fix it!

Best Regards
Sonyman

It sounds more like the metadata was incorrect for cd2, as the trackc titles should not be the same

Hello,
the Meta Data are correct!
with the Batchripper v1.3 works fine!

I can the effect reproduce on more than 15 Discs (double Discs)

You can see the Tagging is the Same but not the File!
If you rip the Disc with the CD Ripper or a older Version of the Batchripper all Metadata are correct!

I have ripped the discs with two different Jobs but the tagging is with Error!

The two came from two different metadata providers (notice how one has Genre: German and Genre: Pop), when did you try the old R1.3 of batchripper, recently?

You ripped with r1.2 today? As metadata is very much dynamic.

If you have both r1.2 and r1.4, switch on manual input and review, so you can see the metadata from the individual providers

The Batchripper V1.2 is only for the Double Check!!
With the CD Ripper you have also correct tagging!

..By the way
I haves checked the Tagging resources for the "Issu Discs" the sources are correct!
I thing this is a problem with the Metadata handling inside from the Batchripper!

A way to analyze the Problem:
I can send a Image from the Discs (2.pcs)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
summary:
If i use the current version of the CD-RIPPER or a old Version of the Batchripper i dont have the Problem!!

Please enable 'manual input and review' in Batch Ripper and look at the metadata in R1.2 and R1.4

I have used the same settings in Batchripper v1.2 and v1.4

v1.2 detects the Meta data right and does only receive Meta Data from freeDB
v1.4 detects the Meta data incorrect and use "MUSIC BRAINZ" and freeDB

The Data from freeDB are Correct but not from "MUSIC BRAINZ"!

It is not a bug, there are millions of CDs and different metadata providers have different data, some is incorrect. If you do not want MusicBrainz you can switch it off (I can assure you overall MusicBrainz has a higher quality of metadata then freedb).

MusicBrainz just rolled out a major update (NGS) and there's a blog post here (http://blog.musicbrainz.org/?p=888) that a lot of lookup software authors are having issues.

I use MusicBrainz exclusively as my Metadata provider with dBpoweramp. When using CD Ripper, it's pulling the track titles for the first disc when I insert the second disc of a multidisc set. Something is definitely not working correctly anymore between dBpoweramp and MusicBrainz.

I think this issue needs to be investigated...We will be moving our MusicBrainz server to a different IP address soon, so is a good opportunity to sort the code issues people are seeing.
