Hi everyone

Just signed up to the forum, as this sounds like just what we need.

A couple of questions before our company invests in the program, hope some of you out there can clarify its capabilities.

We need to rip to a mono summed wav file from audio CD, is this possible.
Also, can MP3CDs be recognised and converted to mono summed wav. ( I know this is not going to gain any quality, its just our work flow proceedure here.)

Any feedback greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Ben

Add the DSP effect 'Channel Count'

Thats good to know, thanks.
Is there a limitation on what disc formats will be recognised to perform the rips?

For data CDs (ie a disk with mp3s), browse to the disc, select all the files, right click on one >> Convert To

Can that easily be setup to run automatically on the Robot Loaders like the Primeras?

Data CDs cannot be automated.

Is ripping dependent on the audio cds info being available on CDDB, some other programs need this to make ripping possible.
I ask because Audiobooks very often are not on such databases.

Metadata is required for batch ripping yes.

Thank you. It looks like we can set it to read CD text, which may help, but I wonder if it will rip if the CD doesn't have a title.

On another topic, does Batch Ripper work with the Rimage Producer series of machines? How about Datatronics Minicubis?

Thanks again

Minicubis yes, RImage I do not think so. If there is no metadata the cd is rejected, you can then rip it manually.
