I have a friend who will soon buy the reference version, and I'd like to send them a file with all of my setting for dMC and Ripper, not just my profiles. But it seems to me if I send them an export of hkcu\software\illustrate, then that will also include the registration key for my copy as well and screw up one or both of our installs. Is my worry well-founded, and if so, any way to do this smoothly? thanks

For CD drives you cannot send your settings, they need discovering with key discs (for AccurateRip, etc).

Right, I figured that. And the user directories need to be changed to align with their preferred locations, and I assume one must install the same codecs I do. But will any license registration info buried in my settings screw up their or my ability to use our reference versions or PerfectMeta licenses? thanks!
