The price to upgrade too dbpoweramp is $24 U.S. I am in Canada. When I choose the Canadian option the price doubles to $48. Why is the conversion rate doubled? Any currency converter on the web converts $24 Us to $32.88. This does not seem at all fair!!!!! -
I have been using a multi-rip process for years, over a decade, to get tracks to two drives for network consumption as FLAC, and device portability as MP3.
However today I listed to just one ripped track, and it had a skip after about 17 seconds.
The MP3 does not.

Gnu took over freedb's database, and have run it for a couple of years, hats off to them.

Can someone please explain why PerfectTunes AccurateRip analysis depends on rip metadata?

CD ripping was going perfectly until I got this message: "It appears that your email address is invalid."
This appears in the album and artist tabs as well as continued on throughout what would be the individual song titles.

I just discovered that Windows, in its infinite wisdom, went through my music directory and resized all the folder.jpg images to tiny 200x200px images and accompanied these with AlbumArtSmall.jpg images (as if the compressing of the folders wasn't enough).
