I've downloaded and installed Asset 2.1. Your website says that Premium Features (internet radio and folder view) would work for 30 day trial period, then you need to register.

I have joined Radiotime and have presets.

My Netgear MP101 player shows the internet radio tree and presets but none of them play. I don't see any menu options for Folder View.

Please help.

Besides the above issues, this is a great product..... flexibility is excellent.

Thanks.

Can you netgear player accept a Wave stream? as internet radio is decoded by asset, try the LPCM streaming option.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I'm transcoding to LPCM all file types except mp3 and wma. My Netgear player plays mp3, wma, and LPCM natively.

Check that it is working at your location, install dBpoweramp Renaissance (which will enable your computer as a UPnP player):

Switch the streaming to Wave and see if Renaissance will play UPnP.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.

I'm confused. I installed Renaissance and it didn't add a program listing to my Windows XP desktop or "All Programs" menu. My Netgear MP101 wireless player still won't play internet radio.

You run it manually by browsing to c:\program files\illustrate\dbpoweramp\uplayer.exe

I tried running uplayer.exe directly out of the folder, I get a DOS type text window as follows:

dBpoweramp Renaissance: uPlayer (c) 2009 Illustrate Ltd

Audio Collection: (global) Audio Output Device: waveout:-1 (default)

From this point, the cursor doesn't move and you can't enter any commands.
'not sure what do to next.

Thanks

That is all, your PC is now a UPnP Renderer (player), you can control it using a control point to play tracks from a UPnP server (Asset).
