My current set up plays music via a PS3. I have a couple of playback issues
1) Problem with playing WMA files, it only plays about 30 seconds then skips to the next track
2) Lower quality MP3 (under 200kbs) stop playing after about a minute.
I have the latest Asset version installed. A friend of mine also has the same issue.

You are on Asset v2? which was released last week?

I have solved some of the problem. The PS3 needs to be set to output frequency to 48khz in the music settings.
However, It still stops tracks after about a minute and a half on tracks recorded at 128kps Mp3 & WMA (a quality not recomended but I do own some)

I am having a similar issue. At exactly the 2:11 mark of every MP3 I try to play, my PS3 gives a Network Error 80710723 message and quits playing. Works fine for the FLAC files. Any ideas? I do have the latest Asset installed on XP machine.

I'm experiencing this issue too.

Setup:
- Playstation 3 (Slim edition, latest firmware)
- 100 Mbps ethernet (wired)
- Windows Home Server, Power Pack 3 on a P4 2,6 Ghz - 1 GB RAM machine
- Asset UPnP Release 2 add-in

FLAC files play perfectly. I've been playing FLAC files for many hours without hickups. However, MP3 files with a 128 bitrate stop playing after about one minute. Sometimes playing continues after a few seconds, but in other occassions playback stops completely.

Any suggestion to fix this is greatly appreciated. If I need to do some testing to gather more information, please let me know.

Set the mp3 files to transcode to LPCM in Asset Configuration, this will allow the PS3 to not time out.

I changed the setting accordingly. MP3 streaming to the PS3 is OK now. Thanks.
