Hello

Is there a way to add track and album gain to existing mp3 files? I can do that with flac files but was unable to find something for mp3. Currently I use MP3GAIN and that adds APE tags, maybe not the best solution.

Command line ore GUI woud be nice.

Thanks
Christian

There is this codec http://codecs.dbpoweramp.com/codecs-new/dBpoweramp-Codec-%5BReplayGain%5D.exe that you might be able to invoke by script/command line as long as you have the reference version of dMC.

I'm looking to script adding ReplayGain (Track level) by commadn line as well and have R13.3 reference.

I have installed the ReplayGain codec but not sure where to even begin.. what exe do I need to invoke and what paramters?

I normally use the Batch Converter to select a large number of files to "Convert To" Replay Gain. The ReplayGain codec must be used like all other codecs to convert files.

Command line use http://www.dbpoweramp.com/developer-cli-encoder.htm or scripting http://www.dbpoweramp.com/developer-scripting-dmc.htm

That batch converter was a great suggestion actually. I finally managed to pull it off.
