I posted this msg in the wrong forum b 4:)
so here it is again

my prob is i just bought a new sony md player and when you incode it with open gm(the incoding software that comes with them md player) you can only play the files in open gm. So i downloaded the atrac3 codec off the net and have been using dbpoweramp to rip off the cd and gold wave to incode to atrec3 and when i do it this way it works in open gm and winamp .etc. so i was wondering if n e one could make a codec plug in so i can go straight from cda to atrec3 using dbpoweramp???

The only atrac3 codec released is a ACM Wave codec by Sony, it should work already with dMC.

Ok...

I'm stupid, how do I get the program to see that I have the codec? (Not the same guy that posted before by the way!)

Is there any way to covert Sony .omg to MP3 using your software? Or do I have to re-burn every song that I've burnt using Open MG from CD again with dbPowerAMP?

Reburn, I know of nothing that will touch .omg
