I´m quite new to this and I have some question about wma 9.
I just downloaded the dBpower converter and when started to convert a file to wma there were 3 choices, CBR, VBR and VBR 2 pass.
What is the difference between these ?

Have a look here:

http://www.dbpoweramp.com/spoons-audio-guide-formats.htm

it talks about vbr (for mp3, but it is the same), vbr 2 pass gives better results but I cannot say by how much, it spends the first pass looking at the music, figuring out how best to compress on the 2nd pass.

Hi,
I just would like to know why the 2pass option is disable (bug ?)...

Spoon, what is your favorite codec between Ogg and Wma9 ?

I just want to add that I have already installed the PowerPack...

I prefer Ogg.

Run this to make sure the power pack is operational:
