Hi,

I purchased this a bout 2 weeks ago. Been ripping my CD collection to FLAC with no problems. Now all of a sudden when I open the program, then put a CD in to rip...it just crashes. I have tried CD's that have already been done and it still crashes.

So will not work at all now :(

The CD's rip fine in Windows Media Player.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can resolve this please?

I am using dBpoweramp Music Converter 12.4 Reference and my operating system is Vista Home Premium.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks,

Gazza.

Try uninstalling dMC, reboot, reinstall it, reboot again, and then see if it still crashes.

Hi.. I have done as you suggested and it is still the same :(

One minute all was fine ripping CD's the other day and then I put my next CD in and it came with the program is no longer responding and closed down.

I only did a basic uninstall then and did not use the program you have to get rid of everything.

Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks,

Gazza.

Before I perform this please can you confirm if I need to have a tick in all boxes or just the first 2 that are defaulted?

Many thanks,

Gazza.

As a test, enable the CD-Text meta option, if it that, that is crashing please drop me an email:

(this option has been causing problems for some people and need looking at).

It has not crashed since it was installed again. However I am having another nightmare and will post in the right area for that.
