Hey guys!

I have a strange thing going on, I tried to rip a CD with EAC and dBpoweramp, and they both came out Accurate, but the CRC's are different.
Ripped them both with the same offset correction, no C2.

dbPoweramp :
AccurateRip: Accurate (confidence 4) [Pass 1]
CRC32: D2CB1BD2

EAC :
Peak level 98.8 %
Track quality 100.0 %
Copy CRC 16C4B826
Accurately ripped (confidence 4) [9DD218ED]
Copy OK

So, which one is actually accurate? Because the CRC's are different..

Thanks!

In EAC under file/EAC option tab Extraction: is 'no use of null samples for crc calculation' checked or unchecked?

Checked
Is that the problem?

Seems that indeed that was the problem, it gives the same CRC now.
Thanks! :)

Convert a track from both rips to WAV, and use EACs "Compare WAV" function under the tools menu. I have found that the two programs rip bit identical WAVs.
