It should have had the new amp in that install, it is best to uninstall first before installing.

yeh i have a bad habit of not uninstalling first, so that must have been it.

It's my first post on Illustrate's forum, but i'm a visitor for about
a year (also beta tester). Must say that spoons player reproduce
audio the best (i also use Sonique 1&2, winamp3b and latest
media player)! But there's few things which i don't like:
First of all, it's the look! Looks preaty begginerLike. I'm also
Sonique alpha/beta tester, skinner (finished 1 skin and 2 i'm
working on), and when comparing those 2 skinLooks...
Playlists. Sorry but i don't like that En-queue, my collection way.
Why not using simple playlist (realtime, what's underway it's
underway!).

P.S. These comments i put are only mean for the best, i really like
your programs spoon (particularly CD writer). I apologize for my
bad English...

Will you be creating a Skin for dAP? It is probbly easier then Winamp 3/Sonique 2.

..but i wanna see what are the differences, what can and what
can not be done. I haven't create no skin for winAmp (and i will
not! Don't like the player, don't like that kind of skinning). But
when Sonique2 is about it's a different story. SQ2 got it's own
language named MML (mantis...). Combination of HTML, javaScript
(c++).. , acctualy it's preaty easy (i've learn the basics in 2
weeks). In mml you can do huge stuff lake haveing your own
program for catalogize music (which i did for my self), and so on...
:smile2:

dBpowerAMP Skinning you will learn in two minutes, everything is done with a Visual Skin designer program.

write me an link?

by the way , which skins did you think didn't look professional?

...and sorry if you've recognize yourself in there, haven't really
meant to hurt anyone with some statements!
What i've wanted to say is that skinning in dbpowerAMP looks
somewhere in the stage of beggin skinning in Sonique1 (not to
mention Sonique2!!!). Please proof me wrong.

no offence was taken. i thought you might have been pointing out something specific, like the use of certain colors etc...

skinning is still in its infacy i think.

because it's so time consuming i think it is practically a full time job.
