Hi everybody,
I've been trying out DBPowerAmp Reference 12.2 and
All I've asked it to do is a simple task,
ie...
Using CDGrab.exe
Rip a CD to MP3
I've configured directories, naming, encoder
included DSP effects -> Replaygain, Title and Album checked

So...
We open the directory of ripped mp3 files,
We play one of the files in Winamp and
open "View File Info" window
There is no id3v2 fields filled out, id3v2 tags are not there !!
Only id3v1 is filled out.
So what am I doing wrong ?
Cheers.

Go into dBpoweramp Configuration and adjust your tagging settings.

Thanks for replying LtData...
Let us assume that some day someone else (like me :headbang:)
will search these forums looking for the same answer...
So...
Correct me if I'm wrong please.
dBPowerAmp Configuration is a file named "dBConfig.exe"
and you'll find it in the main program install directory (or the shortcut in
your start menu--Programs--dbPowerAmp folder).
Start dBConfig...
Choose the Tab at the top named "Codecs".
When "Codecs" is highlighted, then choose
"Advanced Options" (menu item at bottom).
You will see a list of ID Tagging items.
We scroll down the list a bit and find
"mp3 ID Tagging" menu item.
Click on any of the sub menus that belong here,
it will be highlighted and you can now edit the settings.

COPY THIS (if you want id3v1 AND id3v2 Tags):

mp3 ID Tagging

Tag Creation --> ID3v2 and ID3v1
ID3v1 Version --> v1.1
ID3v2 Version --> v2.3
ID3v2 Text Encoding --> ANSI

Cheers @derty2

Choose just the ID3v2 option (for tag creation).
