I purchased a dbPowerAmp Reference license. I downloaded and installed
dMC-R12.3-Ref-Registered.exe. I installed the mp3 (Fraunhofer) codec. I attempted to use this codec to convert a WAV file to mp3. When I selected it, a screen opened requiring me to register the codec. I clicked on register and was taken to the page that asks for a $28 fee for the Reference version. I returned to the conversion window and attempted to convert the file. The conversion failed with the following error message.

Error converting to mp3 (Fraunhofer IIS), 'C:\My Music Plus\Music Ripped\Moody Blues\Moody Blues-The Moody Blues Gold (Disc 1) (2005)\17-I'm Just A Singer (In A Rock 'N' Roll Band)-Moody Blues.flac' to 'C:\My Music Plus\Music Ripped\Moody Blues\Moody Blues-The Moody Blues Gold (Disc 1) (2005)\17-I'm Just A Singer (In A Rock 'N' Roll Band)-Moody Blues.mp3'
mp3 (Fraunhofer) requires a dBpoweramp Reference license to encode mp3 files.

I am unable to determine why the codec does not recognize that the installed version of dbPowerAMP is the Reference version. Request assistance.
