Greetings,
I am running Vista and am using MS media player for playback. I am ripping in WAV format and everything is working very well. My problem is that under media play the track numbers are all listed as 0 (zero). Any help in clearing this up appreciated
Thank you,

I don't think that WMP supports the WAV tags that dMC is writing

Thank you for your quick reply. What is Spoon?

Spoon is the person responsible for creating and writing the programs for dBpowerAMP Music Converter (dMC), nearly all of the codecs and plug-ins, and the associated dBpowerAMP programs (Audio Player, CD Writer, Sveta).

Best wishes,
Bill

Thank you for your reply.
Is this something that can be added in future versions, or is there so little request for this function that it would not be worth the effort.
The program works well so far. I used it to rip CD's that media player won't.
I am very impressed with this forum.... Job Well Done
Thank you

Why are you encoding to WAV? Why not encode to WMA?

If the problem is due to WMP not recognizing the WAV tags, you would need to either find some software that lets WMP read the tags or request WAV tag reading from Microsoft.
