I have used dbPower Amp for many years with my online radio station and it worked fine. Recently I had to restore my computer back to factory defaults due to a virus.

After this, I reinstalled db thinking I could copy my Cd's. 30 days later I receive an error that this Power Pack & MP3 License was unregistered and that it wouldn't copy my CD. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program 3 times, but to no avail.

I was wondering how can I get rid of this pack and just go back to traditional dmc chewy goodness.

Thank you in advance to all who might be of help.

The powerpack is one component which also contains the license to use the mp3 encoder.

Registration is now a requirement for mp3 conversins since the codec is protected by patent.

So as long as you need to convert to mp3, you need to acquire the registered version of the program now.
