Question Large MP3 files, multiple audio CD's possible?

I would like to convert large MP3 files to burn onto audio CD's. The files are lengthy lectures, and once converted are too large to fit onto a single CD. My question is: does this software (dBpower AMP Music Converter / CD Writer) allow multiple audio CD's to be burned from a single large MP3 after conversion. In other words, will it prompt for insertion of more CD-R's if necessary during the burning process? If this software does not do this, does anyone know of a program that does? Thanks.

dMC does not do this, no. Your best bet would be to use a program to cut the MP3 at logical points at around CD-length and then burn those files to CDs. dMC does not do this at the moment, but Audacity does: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Re: Large MP3 files, multiple audio CD's possible?

Hey - try iTunes to make audio CDs of really big mp3 files. I just did a continous mp3 over 6 700mb CDs and it works fine. Only thing is, iTunes doesn't fade in and out when the CD fills up, it just cuts the sound off. But when you put in the next CD, it does automatically back up about 5 or 10 seconds so that you get to re-hear the next part of your mp3 in context with the preceding sentence (or whatever you're burning).

Stick with Audacity (no offense, man). They just got a version upgrade, functionality kicks @$$ now.
