Automatic library rescan when ripping new cd

I seem to remember that my ripnas automatically rescanned and added new cds to my music library after ripping - or am I imagining it?

I have recently installed the new Sqeezebox Server version 7.4.0. Could this be the problem - is there a bug?

Regards, Paul

Hi Spoon, if Ripnas should auto rescan, how do I now reconfigure it to do this.

Thanks, Paul

Re: Automatic library rescan when ripping new cd

There was a DSP effect which called an update utility in SC, perhaps they have changed SC as I have not looked at 7.4

You could remove the SC dsp effect and add an effect for external program instead. Then just call the update as you wish. I believe you want the "after batch" options.

for SC 7.4 command line look here:

Hope it helps...
