This isn't a dMC problem but someone here may know if there's a way to do this.
I have a large number of tracks that have been ripped from compilation albums that have the CD year in their tag (because that's what I specified when I ripped it!) rather than the year the track itself was released.
This is a bit of a forlorn hope as I'm not entirely sure how it could work but does a tool exist that will undertake a mass update of tag year information using a web site as its information source or is laboriously referencing the CDs and editing the tags manually the only way I'm going to correct them?
If, as I suspect, manual update is the only answer does anyone know of a tag editing tool that will open the tags for all tracks in a directory allowing me to edit them en masse rather than editing them singly?
Thanks.
Kevin
