hey everyone,
im rubbish at computer things and there wasnt a codec on the site i was given, anybody know how to convert a .rar file into a .wav or mp3 or anything else that wil let me listen to it?

A .rar file is NOT an audio file. It is an archive of whatever anybody decided to put it it, just like a .zip file which would be created with Winzip. You need to unzip it to see what file you have it it, and extract them and mayeb you have audio files, or maybe not.Originally Posted by shmuck04
You can use the program WINRAR ( http://www.download.com/3000-2250-10007677.html ) to decompress the .rar file. Not ure if WINZIP can handle that.
