    Help converting .mka files

Hi, I hope this is in the correct forum.

I have an album ripped in 24/96 5.1 DTS Master Audio which is in .mka format. Unfortunately, nothing seems to support tags with .mka files, so I am looking to convert it to .Flac (or another format you guys might recommend?) - retaining the 24/96 5.1 Lossless audio. Is this possible with dbPowerAmp?

Thanks in advance for any help :-)

sorry for necro posting, and if this doesn't help you it may help someone else
mka is matroska container format meant for audio only
you can use a few different the matroka tools to "demux" it (think of demux like extracting a zip))
the official tool is called mkvtoolnix however mkvtoolnix does not include a demux gui

for both of the following tools ytou will need also mkvtoolnix https://mkvtoolnix.download/ in addition to the tool
if its just one file i recommend mkvextract 2 https://sourceforge.net/projects/mkvextractgui-2/
if its multiple files i recommend mkvcleaver http://blogs.sapib.ca/apps/

i use mkvcleaver to batch demux flac audio files, then i use dbpoweramp to convert those to aac. followed by a script to remux them (remux is like making adding files to a zip)
of course there is no guarantee the demuxed audio will be compatible with dbpoweramp.
