    Vanishing albums

I have about 20000 tracks and 2300 albums in my library. Now, after a refresh, Asset (5 beta) tells me my library has got 20337 tracks and 0 (zero) albums. So it refuses to play inexistent albums. What has happened ? Where have gone my albums ? What should I do ? I have rescanned the whole library twice but to no avail.

Cannot tell, because after rescanning for the third time all the albums were back again...

It has done it again, after adding some files to the library : zero albums.
Correct : no artist, no albums.

The album count can take a while to populate after a refresh all. When it says there are no albums, you can browse artist >> album?

Well, now it had about 4 hours time and it still says zero albums. And, no : no artists, no titles, no composers, no instruments....

Yesterday it did still say zero, the whole day. But this morning (here it is now about half past eight) it told me that all the albums are back.
    Very strange.

When you add new music, what do you do? leave asset to self detect audio, or do a Rescan Refresh All?

Both. Bur recently I have favoured rescan, because I found out that self detect didn't work every time.

Rescan detecting changes should be done normally.

    Re: Vanishing albums

Okay - but that is exactly what I have been doing for the last weeks : and the the albums vanish. Now they have reappeared after 48 hours - I'll try again and see how long it takes next time ...

Now, every time I add new music it correctly adds the tracks and subtracts all the albums : zero albums every time.
Can somebosy give me a hint ?
