    Hello,

just discovered that a new version of Asset Upnp for the Raspberry Pi is available. What are the steps to upgrade to the new version?

    Thanks.

Download the new version and copy the files over the existing.

Sorry, is this the version 4.1 Beta, 1st release after the initial release, or is there a newer version?

    Thanks,
    Simon

ok, are there any release notes?

The 4.3 version on Windows changes the handling of Album Artwork for Compilations, by not using them, is the carried forward on the RPi version?

    Thanks,
    Simon.

Re: Asset on Raspberry Pi Update

Hi, I have installed the latest release R4.3 on RPi, and performed a 'Re-scan all'. I now have entries in the view Artist/Album without UpStream Artwork for Artists that are on Compilations only and have no Albums of their own right in my collection.
I do have artwork for every track, having gone through the individual tracks of each Compilation albums (which took a while!)

Can Artwork from Compilations be configurable and taken after Artwork from the main artist folders?

    Thanks,
    Simon.

Not in the short term, I am thinking of creating R5 Asset with new designs.

Re: Asset on Raspberry Pi Update

Ok, then could we have a fix to the R4.3 release for RPi, that adds back upstream artwork from compilations, as I now have entries in the views without any upstream artwork, which after 'fixing' all my tagging on the compilation albums is not desired.

Also I noticed that the Album count on the Webpage does not decrement after the removal of tracks, after I performed some tidying. So again, as with R4.2, the album count under [Details] and on the status page are now reporting different values.

    Thanks,
    Simon

I not go back to the old method as we had many complaints about it also...

The next update will fix once for all and everyone will be happy.

Re: Asset on Raspberry Pi Update

What fixes/improvements were made with the 4.3 release over the 4.2 (Beta), as I may go back to this release, as it was working fine for me, with all the upstream artwork.

Particularly as there is no timeline on the next update, R5?

    Thanks,
    Simon.
